Our Kubernetes mentorship program is designed for individuals who have completed Kubernetes or OpenShift training or certifications but need on-the-job assistance to apply their knowledge effectively. This program covers Design Consulting, Architecture Review, Installation Assistance, Guidance in Troubleshooting, and Product Comparison.
Our mentors work closely with the mentees in developing an Individual Development Plan (IDP), studying key core competencies, ensuring work projects have start and end dates, meeting routinely with the mentee, and providing feedback for program improvement.
Mentees are expected to meet with their mentor on a fortnightly basis, be proactive, commit to self-development, discuss individual development planning with the mentor, prepare for meetings, actively listen, seek advice, keep conversations confidential, respect the mentor’s time, stay accessible, committed, and engaged during the length of the program, and give feedback to the mentor.
Mentees gain a sharper focus on professional growth, further development as a professional, capacity to translate values and strategies into productive actions, career development opportunities, assistance with ideas, demonstration of strengths, increased career networks, improved ability to express expectations, goals, and concerns, and knowledge of organisational culture.
